Chifa (Asian-Peruvian): Roasted Baby Chickens
Ingredients
- 4 baby chicks
- soy sauce
- ½ tablespoon of Chinese cinnamon
- Pepper
- Seasoning
Preparation
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Dip the chicks in boiling water to open the pores, then pour soy sauce over them. Coat the chicks well. Rub the inside of the chicks with the dry ingredient mixture and place them in the oven at about 350°C for 50 minutes. Serve with a vegetable salad, fries, or pickled turnips.
