Farfán’s Early Career in Lima

Jefferson Farfán began his career at the Alianza Lima football academy, one of Peru's most prestigious clubs. From his debut with the first team in 2001, he quickly became a key player due to his technique and dribbling ability. His breakout season came in 2002 when he helped Alianza Lima win the Peruvian championship, catching the attention of international scouts. His performances led to a transfer to PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands in 2004.

Success in Europe

Upon joining PSV Eindhoven, Jefferson Farfán immediately showed that he had the talent to succeed in Europe. During his four seasons with the Dutch club, he won four Eredivisie titles and was a key contributor to PSV’s European campaigns, especially in the UEFA Champions League.
